Multiple exposure image of the 1999 Festival Asteroid (6370) 1984EY = Malpais taken at the US Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station in May 1999. The asteroid images are the four dots in a line near the center: the four images were taken eight minutes apart, and reveal the asteroid's motion against the background of distant stars.
